Okay, I had to come up with a reason to showcase my latest Photoshop creation...I chose the post title. Click on the picture to get a better look! I am working with a group of high school students downtown with a project to take culturally relevant figures and do an Andy Warhol-esque pop art piece. This picture is one of my samples.
Anyway, You should currently be knee-deep in technology assignments. The Delicious assignment, Newsletter, Journals, etc., should be keeping you busy. We will briefly discuss the Newsletter before moving on. I will get to the grading this week, I promise ;-)
Tonight: I want to introduce Google Docs (something I wasn't able to do last week). We will discuss the narratives for TaskStream and how to use Google Docs as a collaborative tool. We will also begin the PowerPoint assignment and if time permits, discuss the creation of rubrics. Remind me to also discuss how to use Atomic Learning!
Journal 3: "Assessment Made Easy," by Andrew A. Zucker is from the June/July 09 issue of L&L. You will need your ISTE account to be able to access the digital edition.
Also, we are going to be doing group projects/collaboration that requires having each other's Gmail address. Please complete the following Survey (Only Once please). I sent a link to the results on EdModo!!
This week's Question: If you could be a contestant on any gameshow (past or present), what would it be? Not answering is not an option ;-)
That's easy... The Prices Right. That show is awesome!!!
ReplyDeleteI would pick Deal or no deal...I'd know when to walk away with he most amount of money.
ReplyDeleteNickelodeon's Double Dare. I could take that obstacle course no problem! And who doesn't really want to get slimed anyway?
ReplyDeleteFor me, either Jeopardy or Cash Cab.
ReplyDeleteI would pick Lets Make A Deal, I used to love that game show when I was younger. I would watch the reruns.
ReplyDeleteWho wants to be a Millionaire. I'm full of random, useless information and I think I could make a pretty good run on it.
ReplyDeleteThe newlywed game. I think my husband would make a fool out of himself.
ReplyDeleteI would most want to be on Jeopardy, but it would also be a surreal experience to be on the old "What's My Line?" or "Hollywood Squares" shows...yeah I know, no one remembers them.
ReplyDeleteDo they still make game shows? I'd say I'd like to be on Family Feud, because I use to watch it with my siblings and we always did pretty well :)
ReplyDeleteDouble Dare, probably. I don't really ever watch game shows so I'm not positive, but when I was little I wanted to be on Double Dare. Maybe now I'd be better on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire...I know a lot of useless trivia.
ReplyDeleteAre you smarter than a fifth grader? Because I always win on the XBox 360 version
ReplyDeleteCash cab because its easy to win.
ReplyDeleteOK....I'm not sure if anyone remembers this show, but I would go on GUTS! That show was frickin' awesome. It was like a teenager sports game show. It would either be that or Legend of the Hidden Temple....but probably GUTS!
ReplyDeletePrice is right of course! I just love that show or at least watching the crazy people that get on stage! I think I would do a cart wheel for sure if I got on stage!
ReplyDeleteCash Cab all the way!
ReplyDeleteDeal or no Deal because I absolutely love love love Howie!!!! He is so awesome and I would just want to go back and fourth with him on this show.
ReplyDeleteUmmm, when I was younger it would have been "Double Dare"...I would have kicked butt on the physical challenges! Now, however, not so much...I'd probably do better on "The Price is Right." I would've wanted to be on the Bob Barker version, though...it's just not the same with Drew Carey. I've watched that show since I was ten years old, and I've always wanted to do the Showcase Showdown!
ReplyDeleteI would like to have been on Jeopardy. That way I could prove to the world, and my family, how smart I really am.
ReplyDeletePrice is Right!!! I actually was on it about 12 years ago and I won a car...however....the prizes are soooooo much better today!
ReplyDeleteI just know one game show and it is Deal or no Deal. My family and I enjoy watching this game show. Thank you for asking because you help me to learn what game show mean here, I mean in the U.S A.
ReplyDeleteI would love to be on Deal or No Deal.
ReplyDeleteI would love to be on cash cab with my dad. He knows the answers to all of the questions! We would make a bunch of money :)
ReplyDeleteMy first response was who wants to be a millionaire, but I think I'd rather be on Price is Right, I love watching it.
ReplyDeleteIt would have to be Deal or No Deal, simply because my sister was on the show. She loved it. I think she walked away with about 20k- but she was up around 100k and didn't take her husbands advice and lost it! The show did a special episode for Military wifes & she was picked out of all the woman who applied & interviewed. :)
ReplyDeleteI would have to say Deal or No Deal! I love that show, and who can say no to 1 million dlls. :D
